What we can offer

Our out-of-hours service is available to schools and commercial property clients who have a pre-arranged agreement in place. Speak to the team at J. Bailey & Sons Ltd to secure your buildings and have our team available for you at all times. 

  • Storm damage - Our team will make the site safe and help prevent water ingress
  • Boiler breakdown - Even if we can’t fix this straight away, we’ll arrange a temporary heating solution.
  • Gas leaks - We isolate the gas supply and make the property safe.
  • Roof repairs - We assess the cause of the problem in order to make the best repair/ give professional advice.
  • Flooding - Reactive flood clean up
  • Emergency boarding - We’ll secure your property until new windows and/or doors are in place.
  • Burst pipes - We’ll locate the source of the leak and prevent further flooding
  • Drain clearance - Our team locates the blockage and gets things flowing again
  • Fire damage - We’ll start the clear- up operation, make the site safe and start work on getting your site functional again.
  • Power failure - We’ll assess the situation and work to restore power to your site
  • Break-ins or malicious damage - Our team will clear up, make your site safe and assess next steps
  • Loss of water supply - J. Bailey & Sons Ltd will locate the issue and restore water to your property

Our 24 Hour Emergency Service is available by prior arrangement for contract clients who need dependable out-of-hours support. This service is primarily used by social and public sector clients, social housing and commercial properties, where a clear agreement is in place covering response expectations, service hours and charging structure. 
Our Emergency Service team responds between the following hours:

  • 5pm - 8am working weekdays
  • Weekends from Friday 5pm - 8am Monday
  • All Bank Holidays
  • Christmas office closures.

No. Our 24 Hour Emergency Service is not a general domestic call-out service and is only available by prior arrangement under contract.

Yes. We can arrange out-of-hours support under contract, with the level of service tailored to the type of property and likely call-out requirements.

Our out-of-hours cover applies outside normal working hours, with details agreed as part of the contract arrangement. 

Charges are agreed in advance and depend on the level of cover required, the type of client and the expected volume of work.
